I understand what you mean about the struggles continuing, and the ability to deal with them strengthening. I still find it hard to separate 'me' from the various difficulties and patterns that seem entrenched sometimes. But spirituality is definitely part of the solution.

I will check out your fungi blog. And you've encouraged me to think about where I'll go next with the SN blog.

Cheers
CatherineInspirednoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6895257112113504033.post-78495717603497624422011-06-04T02:22:31.530-07:002011-06-04T02:22:31.530-07:00Sounds like an interesting project, Catherine.
Al...Sounds like an interesting project, Catherine.

All is well in my part of the world, but I haven't had much time for blogging - my fungi blog gets first attention, especially as it is fungi season now (going fungi hunting tomorrow for photos and study).

I have been busy with my pursuits with the CWA (Country Women's Association), and we are setting up our house in northwest NSW for retirement in a few years time. We are currently looking for an alternate rental property here in the Hunter Valley as this leaks like the proverbial sieve.

I have a new grand-daughter (that makes 7 - if anyone had told me 10 years ago that I'd have 7 grandkids from my two offspring, I would have said they were mad). One-week old Eve and her mother are healthy.

I struggle with setbacks with depression still, but get back to a stable state in a short time. I'm lucky. I'm exploring spirituality, and get out in to the bush as much as possible.

Sorry, you didn't ask for an essay, but I have rambled. Anyhow, it's nice to catch up with you, and I wish you well with your writing project.

Kind regards,
GayeGayehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02899430268722758947noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6895257112113504033.post-55633606130796161822011-06-03T15:19:44.921-07:002011-06-03T15:19:44.921-07:00Hi Gaye,

I can't wait to announce it on the blog when it's finally up - it's been a long and sometimes challenging process.

But to be honest, I've also been thinking about the direction of the blog, and what I want to do with it. I'm thinking about a more culture-focused blog, basically melding SN with my other blog (also in recess!) Melbarts. Partly it would be a great outlet for my many opinions on the telly I watch (making me feel less guilty about said telly ...)as well as commenting on the sad state of Australian politics.

How are things going with you?

Cheers
CatherineInspirednoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6895257112113504033.post-60699646031437685722011-06-03T14:37:29.427-07:002011-06-03T14:37:29.427-07:00Hello Catherine,
